I am a total nerd when it comes to the natural world. As a science teacher, I enjoy teaching and learning about natural systems. I am enthralled with the complexity of our planet-how everything is connected. From geology to botany to climate systems- I am there- seeking a deeper understanding.
At the same time, I love to visit places and HIKE. I have dragged my kids (sometimes all three of them), my husband, friends, and even strangers on countless hikes- I just can’t get enough! I spend nearly every weekend on the trail soaking in the beauty of Oregon’s natural places. It doesn’t matter what the question is, the answer is hiking.
